WISHLIST: February

January comes after December, December is the month that we receive gifts and be with our family, so in January there are no wishes.
But we are, already, in February so here goes my February Wishlist:

1- First, I may seem a little bit late on this one, but I bought the NAKED 2 palette (I'll probably make a tutorial with it), and now I really want to have them all, so let's start by the first one... The NAKED palette from URBAN DECAY and it costs $54:

2- Then there's this super cute box on wheels from MAISON DU MONDE (a little bit expensive for what is it in my opinion, 44,99€), and I was thinking it might be really cool to put my photography material in it:

3- From the same collection, there's a little wall or desk decoration also from MAISON DU MONDE that I think is really really cute and costs 6,99€, actually their whole Spring 2016 collection is beautiful:

4- Then I really need a primer even if I use the POREfessional by BENEFIT and I heard nice things about the Hydra Touch Primer from NYX which price is $14:

5- Then I saw on the website, but didn't found it on the store, this super elegant blanket from PRIMARK that costs 16€:

6- Still from PRIMARK this scented candle that really represents the coming spring and its price is 3€:

7- A super cute little notebook from HEMA with little rabbits on it, and it only costs 1,50€:

8- And finally, the most needed one, an acrylic nail polish rack that you can find on several websites:

I hope that you liked it, if you want to read more of these articles you can subscribe my blog inserting your e-mail on the side bar, and it's very important to know that the pics on the wishlist articles are not mine, they're from the brands websites, mostly. Thank you for reading!

HAUL: Clothes & Accessories

I decided to stop shopping clothes and accessories for this sale's season, because enough is enough you know... Or not... Well for now it is...
I'm going to show you three HAUL's because the article would be too long if I showed you everything in a single HAUL. So this is the Clothes & Accessories HAUL, and there will be a Stationery mini HAUL and a Makeup big HAUL.

So this time I got some Harry Potter items that I love:

- Two t-shirts from PRIMARK, both costed 8€, so one of them says "Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus" which means "Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon" (Latin class are so useful at college) and it's kind of the Hogwarts slogan, and the other one says "I Solemnly Swear That I Am Up To No Good" that is the password that the four troublemakers put on the magic map they made of Hogwart's castle:

 - A quidditch (traditional game on Harry Potter's saga) broom necklace that you can find clicking on the green word:

Still on the movie themed vibe, I bought a Cinderella necklace that again you can find clicking on the link:

And finishing the themed items, an Hunger Games necklace that you can find clicking on it:

Then I bought a PRIMARK sweater for 9€, it says "It's freakin' Weekend" on it, and I swear I only use it on weekends (sorry, I should've iron it before the photo shoot but you know how it is...):

As you can see 10% of it in the previous photo, I bought a skirt on sale at ZARA, its initial price was 25,95€ and I paid it 6,99€:

And I actually bought a lot of things at ZARA, sometimes it's frightening because my entire outfit is from there, even the shoes so I let you imagine what it's like on sale's season... This top is one of the items, its initial price was also 25,95€ and I paid it 6,99€:

Then I bought a kind of t-shirt but it's kind of elegant, I paid 9,99€ instead 25,95€, still at ZARA:

Now a real t-shirt, really comfortable, paid it 3,99€ at ZARA:

Last top I bought at ZARA is a jacard top that I paid 5,99€ instead of 25,95€:

And the last ZARA item is from ZARA Knit, really warm and comfy, and I paid it 12,99€ while its initial price was 39,95€:

Talking about handbags, I bought two:

- A MOSCHINO clutch, it's a really special red (like fresh meat, I don't want to be weird but it's that colour though!), it has a removable handle, and the leather is amazing:

- And a green bag really cute, with something that looks like a college logo printed on it, and there's a huge amount of things that fit in:

Last but not least, a watch that reminds me something like the fairy that live in the woods (I have to stop having such a big imagination...), and you can find it here:

I hope you liked it, and I hope that will help you to find products you like, most of them not very expensive in accessible stores or sites. Thank you for reading, and if you want to read more articles like this one, you can follow inserting your e-mail on the side bar to get notifications everytime I publish one!

FAVOURITES: 2015

As an hello to 2016, I decided to gather the 10 products I liked and wore the most in 2015.

10- On the tenth position, I chose a candle from YANKEE CANDLE. Its smell is really refreshing and pleasant on spring and summer, I've been on french lavender fields this summer and the smell is exactly the same:

9- The product I chose for the ninth position is a CIATÉ nail polish, it's the "PP128 - london baby" that you can find clicking on the name, and I put this one on the TOP 10 instead of any other because all the glittered nail polishes I tried are a catastrophe and this one really slays! The application is super simple, the glitters are small so you can decide if you want to something discrete or «Go big or go home» (obviously wore it on the NYE):

8- The blow monkey nail dryer takes the eighth place. I bought it at DOUGLAS, and it's super practical to dry the nails. It doesn't dry in 5 seconds obviously, it doesn't accomplish the miracle every women want to, but instead of 30 minutes, it takes 20 or 15 minutes:

7- It's from MAISON DU MONDE. This lovely cupcake mug, I'm not sure if they made another edition last year or something but I bought mines this year so I had to put it on the TOP 10: 2015:

6- Another candle from YANKEE CANDLE takes the sixth position on this TOP 10, and has a marshmallows smell (so so so good), in opposition to the French Lavender one, this one is really great on autumn and winter:

5- In the middle place of this TOP 10, an incredible eye cleansing from DOUGLAS, and it's super soft, only one passage and all the makeup is off, it's not too oily, and the price is really convinient. I wasn't expecting such a great result:

4- The DOLCE&GABBANA Flower body lotion is just amazing, its smell is perfect, its texture is even more perfect, I'm the weirdest person when it comes to body lotions and honestly this one is amazing.
3- And with the perfume, same magnificent smell, I bought it in may and I already used a half bottle, and I'll probably buy it again when it'll be over:

2- The almost "winner" is the Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Powder from MAC Cosmetics, that again you can find clicking on the name. I don't know when it came out, but I discovered it this year and I'm really glad, it makes my skin look like baby skin:

1- The first product of this TOP 10, the one that made my heart melt each time I used it, is the Ruby Woo lipstick from MAC Cosmetics as well. And I know its glory year was 2014, but I bought it on 2015 and wore it so much it's already almost done, but honestly I have the most sensible lips ever, always full of injuries so matte lipsticks are not good for me, and this one doesn't affect my lips at all:

HOW TO: Clean brushes

Even if you're the laziest person in the world and cleaning your brushes isn't one of your priorities, the moment when your brushes don't work like before comes and you're forced to wash and clean them. There's a simple and effective way to do it:

1- Fill, not necessarily the lavatory (it can be any container), with warm water;
2- Put a small dose of soap in your hand (1 dose = 1 brush);
3- Get the brush wet;
4- Rub the brush in the hand until the soap lather;
5- Rinse the brush.

It also works with the small brushes.

1- You dry the brush with a towel;
2- Then dry with a tissue to absorb the water that's left.

1- It works with sponges too;
2- Get the sponge wet;
3- Put the soap directly on it and rub;
4- Rinse and wring it;
5- Let it dry normally on a towel.

1- Cut a piece of duct tape and fix the middle on the top of a bar;
2- Put the brush under the bar and fix the brush (head down) with the rest of the duct tape.

1- Once you're in the cleaning vibe, you can also clean the other accessories or products that goes on the goblets where you put your brushes;
2- For that you can just put some ethyl alcohol (that thing that everybody has in their bathroom) on a cotton pad and clean your stuff.

And that's it, some things you may need to know doing this:
  • Instead of the soap, the best is the brush cleaner that multiple brands sell.
  • Instead of the hand, the best way to clean your brushes is on a silicone accessorie (I already ordered one but I don't have it yet, but you can find it on any cosmetic site for a little price).
  • Don't get the methalic part wet, it can get rust and spoil the glue as I explain below.
  • You have to put the brushes head down for it to dry properly because:
    • If you put it head up (on your goblet for example) the water goes to the methalic part and can spoil the glue that holds the brush's hair;
    • If you let it dry on a towel, the brush's hair don't get symmetrical like it was before.
  • There are structures to hold the brushes head up or head down, but for who doesn't want to spend money on it and likes to use goblets instead, when you need to put your brushes head down for it to dry for example, you can use a simple bar (like the towel dryer one) and put duct tape to fix it.

CHRISTMAS: 2015 Christmas gifts

Well, after Christmas: the gifts! I didn't get all the gifts yet but I didn't want to publish this article too far from Christmas so I'll just show what I already have.

1- First things first - I got these sneakers from myself to myself, actually a few weeks before Christmas, but they were on my December's Wishlist so I decided to show you them anyway. These are from ZARA as I told you on the December's Wishlist article, and I can confirm you, they are really comfortable:

2- Also from my December's Wishlist - the ZARA boots I fell in love with, which my parents had the kindness of offering me:

3- This one is from my December's Wishlist too (thank god I made it), and it's to start the year well and organized, the MR.WONDERFUL 2016 Agenda (which the shipping service is just amazing, incredibly quick and with really kind attentions):

4- I had an amazing gadget to keep the hands warm, perfect for when I'm writing an article for example, and my hands are out of the blanket. It's from TIGER - "Varmehjerte - Heart Hot Pack".
5- As we stay in the "keeping warm" fase, I got a super cute hot water bottle from PRIMARK :

6- Let's stay on the winter spirit with this just beautiful bonnet from ZARA that says "It's cold outside" on it, and it fits really well:

7- My heart melted with this one, a yellow submarine (just like the Beatles song) contact case from FNAC :

8- My sister gave me this amazing palette from DOUGLAS which is just amazing, I almost cried. It has 120 eyeshadows; 30 lip glosses; 6 blushes; 4 powders; 2 eye brushes; 1 lip brush; 1 blush brush; 1 mascara; 1 eyeliner; 1 eye pencil; 1 lip pencil. It's simply beautiful just to watch it, I didn't tried it yet, but I'll make a tutorial based on it. What I really like is that if I go spend a week-end out or something, I can just bring this and my liquid foundation:

9- This one and the next one were given by the person that knows me the most I guess. My heart stopped when I opened it, it's a pencil case with "Loooong time, no blog" written on it, and thanks to my mom I already have the markers to put inside and start studying. It's from James&Friends.
10- To go with the previous one, a magnificent (technically pencil case too) makeup bag. I mean... It's just beautiful and perfect for me because it says "Eat sleep blog repeat" 4 times in a row, also from James&Friends:

Hope you like them as much as I do, and you can find them on the links I put.

HOW TO: Hide a strip with no costs

It's a fact, nobody likes all those wires around the house. Nowadays there are some advanced ways to hide them, but not everyone wants to spend a big amount to do it. There's a simple way for that without spending a coin.

All you need is:

  • A cute paper bag;
  • Scissors;
  • A ribbon (optional).

You can use a box instead of a paper bag, but it's harder to cut it.

You can watch how to do it in the video below.
